It’s rare to find a place in downtown that both caters to the locals and welcomes visitors to the neighborhood like this place does. This cafe is a long time staple of this neighborhood and its legacy lives on through its new owners. No one else in the neighborhood can beat their prices and especially not at the quality. No frills, just good food and good people serving and making it.

I had an incredible dining experience here! The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The menu offered a fantastic variety, making it hard to choose just one favorite! The staff were just as impressive as the food. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing a great experience. It felt like they truly cared about the customers. I can't recommend this place enough! If you're looking for a memorable meal in a welcoming atmosphere, you have to check this out. I encourage anyone and everyone to come and enjoy! You won’t be disappointed!

The food was delish! Caesar and Gabriel were very hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and it didn’t break the bank. They also had the best coffee I’ve had in LA thus far! We’re glad we went.

We came to visit our daughter in LA and just walked in this breakfast cafe two days ago. It was the best old American breakfast we have had for a long time. The vegetable egg omelette was perfectly cooked and great house coffee we liked very much. Service was great. One cool plus is that we realized this is the place they filmed Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” music video. We really enjoyed the experience! Thanks!! Li and Vickie

Love the giant horseshoe counter seating. There were 4 of us and no room at the counter so sat at the 4-top in the front window. Super friendly atmosphere and lots of food options. I got the chilequiles and they were perfect. Everyone loved their breakfast - they even have hash browns which is harder and harder to find on a breakfast menu. You're not likely going to make this a destination location, but if you're in the area, don't hesitate, just go!

Delicious breakfast options. Generous portions. Friendly staff and bilingual. Laid back place. They have Michael Jackson memorabilia/pictures. MJ cooked in their kitchen!

The food was delicious and the service was even better. Super nice people. The bacon, avocado, cheese omelette was so good. My husband said the French toast was amazing and our granddaughter enjoyed her two eggs, sausage, bacon and sourdough bread. We would definitely go back.. do not let the location put you off! Also found out once we were there that part of Michael Jackson's video for Beat It was filmed here.

Exactly what I was looking for. Delicious, reasonably priced, no nonsense, breakfast. Super unassuming little diner. Gentleman at the counter was lovely and attentive, food was fast, fresh, and scrumptious. Dodgers decor was fun to look at. Everyone who came and went was so nice. Great way to start my day in LA.
